Background
I've been developing websites and applications for over 10 years. I started in 1998, working on front-end graphic design. I
then progressed to middle-tier development and eventually
to back-end development and database programming. I'm a a very versatile developer
with a broad range of skills and understanding of each phase of web design.
Over the years I have worked on a number of projects for a variety of small to
medium-sized businesses. I've also worked on some long-term multi-million dollar
projects for some Fortune 100 companies.
I am currently working for Atkins
Nutritionals, known around the world as the Atkins diet people. I'm the Senior Web Developer for Atkins and manage a small team of developers. Prior to joing Atkins, I worked for CollegeInvest,
a Division of the Colorado Department of Higher Education. I was the CollegeInvest Lead Web Developer/Webmaster
for about three years. There I developed a custom content management system and
also maintained and managed some complex and high-stake web applications that service the state.
I program primarily in C#, ASP.NET, HTML, JavaScript, SQL, XML, and Web services.
My areas of technical expertise are in Web architecture and site security.
I've worked on projects for clients like Microsoft, Adobe, Mitsubishi, Verizon,
Remax, Jefferson County Schools, GAIAM, and The State of Colorado,
to name a few.

Personal Background
On the personal side, I'm a colorado native. I was raised and nourished by a family of artists. I've been married to my best friend for almost 17 years. (Married straight out of high school!) We have four children and two dogs.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading, drawing, puzzles, and staying connected with my family and friends.
